2006 chevy silverado 4.3

Ok here it is, I have an 06 4.3 silverado. it currently has a k&n air filter, throttle body spacer, hyper tech tuner, magna flow dual exhaust. next are the ceramic headers, then nos.

Can I swap my motor out with a v8 and if so can i do it all with a budget of 2,500?

or should I turbo/supercharge, and beef up heads cam, tranny and axle.

There is a guy on here that did the V8 swap. Check the truck forum.

yeah it was an older model silverado, but will the tranny work with a 6.2 v8
