so the other day out of no were my blinkers stoped blinking i can turn the hazards on and they blink and when the car is on they are on but they wont work as a blinker so i check the fuse and its good they flash with hazards so t ain the flasher and body have this problem or know what it is
does your left and right turn signal not work??? usually it's just one that the arrow will stay on... it's more than likely the bulbs (up front) that went out...Quote:

Some cars have a different flasher for turn signals and hazards. If both sides are out, I would check that.
my hazards worked and turn signals didnt. so i changed the flasher under the stearing wheel and that was it.
+1 for the flasher. Both bulbs being out up front at the same time would be out of the ordinary unless you have been driving around with one bad for a while and did not notice.
you would think . . but ive had it happen before. With they way our housings get heat/stress cracks in the lenses; driving in the rain long enough, moisture could get in both housings at the same time.Quote:

changed the flasher and nothin:screwy:
if new flasher did not fix it or if you do not find problem with wiring and bulbs , next i would check the lever connection on the steering wheel housing
Check the "Turn B/U" fuse #2 in the IP fuse block.
Also turn on the hazards and walk around the car to make sure the 2 front and 4 rear bulbs all flash. That will prove the bulbs are ok.
Another thing to check is to make sure you replace the correct flasher. There are 2. One for the hazards and one for the T/signals.
It should also be noted that the front t/sigs run through the DRL module so tha could be a problem
Or the multi-function switch.
I need some help. I have a 2001 WS6and I replaced the turn signal bulbs
with LEDS and an electronic flasher and it all works great except that now
my hazard lights work ridiculously slow. I replaced the flasher to the right of
the steering column and I would like to know where the other flasher is
located. Any help will be appriciated. Thanks.
I think LEDs need more current to operate as normal bulbs would. I could be wrong about this.
Easiest way too find it is to turn on the hazards, listen for the click noise and follow it. The hazard flasher mounted up under the driver's side dash to the left of the steering columnQuote:
