srt10...race

i was coming back from dinner with my girl tonight and i ran unto a new srt 10 ram pickup....we were playing with eachother and goign back and forth.....the guy looked at me and gave me one of those....you dont know what you have gotten into smiles and that shit pissed me off....anyways we continue driving and are on an open road in front of traffic and he flashes his brakes and goes into third gear....i put my z in 3rd at 3300 rpms and we line up on a roll....truthfully i was scared of the srt 10 there running like 500 hp so i gas it a little bit and then he goes to take off and i gun it i edge him about 1 car link but could not leave him but he couldnt catch me....funny thing is i missed fourth....for some reason my fourth gear is almost imposible to hit...it grinds every time ...not sure but anyways...i was happy with the results i edged a 500 hp truck....jw tho did i just get lucky or are they jsut to heavy... andy:)

Heavy with 22s..was it quad cab or regular cab?

ha ha, I was thinking more of the added weight of the truck, plus the parasitic loss of the tranny, but that was funny :D

Why gloat over beating 340 hp N/A truck with a Lightning? What's next...trumpets of victory for beating S10's? The guys in the Rams dumb enough to race you obviously have no idea what a Lightning is.

To be honest...I am happier about beating the owner than the truck....Some of the comments made about my Ford at the stoplight deserve the embarrasment that follows

I get it all the time from the SRT-4 Neons. Even when I'm racing someone I'm nice about it. Why be a dick? Why talk all this smack? I'd race them just as easily if they gave it alil rev... :dunno:
