hey everyone i live in Mo and as you know it snows quite a bit here and instead of selling my ws6 i need to buy some snow tires i just got some stock 98 16" firebird wheels and i need a snow tire. my question is can i get at least a 245 50 16 snow tire or is it just a standard 235? thanks for the help.
You are better off with the 235 snow tire. In the snow narrow is better.
ok thanks i just got some 235s with studs in them not the best looking tire but hey at least i can get to where i need to go. thanks.
What kind did you get?
I work for a tire shop and had have put on a set of 225/60/16 Toyo Observes studdless snow tires on my Z28. They work very well, and are not very expensive. You should be able to find them at your local Toyo dealer. The bad thing about studded snow tires is that they are noisy and once the studs are gone they don't work very well.
