are 243 OEM rockers the same as 853 OEM rockers

thinking of doing a heads upgrade (just posted a thread on 862s & 853s) and want to replace stuff like lifters, pushrods & OEM rockers.

been studying up on OEM rockers and seams to me the best plan would be to have OEM rockers rebuilt since they are the litest.

?1.are 243 OEM rockers the same as 853 OEM rockers.

?2.what exactly doe's Harlan Sharp do when rebuilting a OEM rocker just new bearing and C-clip?

?3.part 2 of ?2. are these bearing also needle type or something else?

1-yes

2-upgrades the trunion and uses the clips to prevent the new needle bearings from falling out.

Edit: You do realize you have to pull the heads to do lifters and if you do this get new LS2 trays.
