Im sure everyone's heard of this by now, how this guy tried to light a bomb but it failed to go off on the plane from amsterdam. I was curious as to y no one had a thread about it yet. What I want to know, is why people dont have people like this on their watch lists. What I mean is that this guy was known to have terrorist ties. When they scan you at the airport, your name's cross referenced to see if ur on a watch list or terrorist list. Why dont they just pool all the names together, even the ones that have ties, to make sure stuff like this has a less likelyhood of happening. I'd say that security in amsterdam should have caught it but I dont know what it's like there. anyway, people like this who even have ties to terrorists should have their names on a list and checked more at airports. It seems like security is a big thing lately, with the white house crashers, the woman assaulting the pope, the plane incident...seriously people stop dropping the ball...
