Auburn LSD 3 series carrier(USED)
I have a used Auburn 3 series carrier that was taken out of a friends car due to the pinion being sheared apart. The carrier casing does have a few places where parts of the gear hit the case but will not affect operation.
The only places of interest is on the base of the carrier side bearing housing.
When the bearing wa being removed with a special tool the cage split on the bearing so the inner race had to be pulled and driven off with a punch and press plate. There are some knicks and spots where the housing was affected. for this reason the unit is being sold as is with no warranty.
