where to begin. my mom and I live in an adult community..45 plus. I live there because I was over 18 at the time. We've lived there for 5 years now, and i've always had a sports car (t/a or vette). For the past two years, I've worked at the same job, and when I work, I used to have to leave by 530, now i start an hour later, so i leave by 640. In the morning, I go out, start the car, walk back inside, put my shirt and pants on, say bye to my mom, and out I go. A total of 5 mins goes by and im gone. I only warm up the car in the winter time, partially because i want to be warm, and partially because its good for the car. I dont speed through the neighborhood. I've got lt headers and borla. catless. So in the whole year of me having this car, i've had one complaint left on my car, threatenig to go to the police because i was "speeding". loudness=speeding appearently. Anyway, I had called the police and they said as long as im not downshifting or reving through the neighborhood, im ok. So, last night I get a letter in the mail from the hoa, warning me because some neighbor said I let my car idle for at least 10 mins at various times of the day, and because of the noise in the neighborhood. I throw my car down into 5th gear when im going out in the morning, and when i come home i all but coast. So i've already made it a point to go pay this guy a visit tomorrow morning to talk to him about all this. My mom was pretty upset about it. I think it's bullshit. I used to drive the vette all the time, and its louder than the t/a. So in all of 5 years of being here, does someone finally get pissy now?? What can i do?
