it really depends on what the car looked like before the "change".. could be a POS ...
Yeah, rotted out frame or whatever. Maybe they had a good car body and a good Blazer roller in some of those cases. But still...

There was a 68 roadrunner here at a local dealership they did that too... but the guy said they made it so they could just unbolt it off the truck chassis and nothing was cut that would need repaired. I still hated they did that to it. But to each their own!

Theres some locals around Yankton SD that do nothing but turn fox-bodies and such into swampers.... i used to have a couple pics of one but cant find them....
yesterday on my way through the reservation there was a gran torino on a 4x4 chassis....
i never believed they existed until i saw one at eye level in my bf's lifted truck. i was like :wtf: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then i got schooled by the black kids in my class and now i know all about lifted G bodies :lol:
I saw one in Wichita, KS. It was a 1st gen Firebird, really clean, I think it was silver. But the fact that they made it a 4x4....just a shame. I could really picture that car roaring down the 1/4 with a GM 572, drag slicks, the works, but why, WHY the 4x4 route....Quote:
