Worth the price?

Hey everyone. Well I found a 93 hard top trans am that is in need of a savior. It has 115k miles and has been sitting for quite some time because the current owners friend overheated it and kept driving it until the engine gave out. The only thing that has kept me from buying it is the price. The guy wants $2000 for it and it seems a bit rough for that kind of money in my opinion. I figured since i plan to buy a trans am anyway I should just join up and ask those who may know better than i do. I personally wouldn't pay 500 for that car. Way better deals to be had. :true:

Ok thanks fellas, I did'nt think it was worth it either. I have seen runners sell for that price. I would love to save it though, I just cant stand when stubborn people let nice cars rot away because they want more money than they are worth. We'll see where he stands in a few weeks/months when its still sitting in his yard.

Yea I am right with these guys. 500 max and the price reducers are paints shot, engines shot, rear interior is out the door, it has an engine that was over heated=junk, 93!!! Personally I would sneak over there and just put it on a trailer and rip the vin off and make it a track car.:look:

I've got an LS1 for sale that needs a clutch and paint. I have it listed at $5,000 but if someone showed up with $3,500 I'd let it go.

Thats good you didn't buy that p.o.s.
I bought a 94 z28 for $1500 a few months ago and its still running good.
Theres good deals out there,just keep looking.good luck!

You still have this car? I may have missed it in the ad, but how many miles are on it currently? The transmission is completely out of the car right now? Which part of Tulsa are you from?
