Headlights

So i'm lookin for some black headlights and wondered if anyone has got any off ebay? If they leak or anything?

Have not heard of any leaking issues, but hear a lot of complaints about fitment issues with the ebay headlights.

I just want the black background, Not to big on the Halos, But mine are scratched up from the blackouts being on. so I dont think the housings would work to well.

Well, you could have the lenses buffed out to take out the scratches
or even use that drill attachment headlight restorer kit to clear them up
google whistler mod, thats what i did and i'm real happy with it

I got my halos off of ebay. No fitment or leaking issues. I do keep my car in the garage though!

I did have a little hard time setting them up right. Now I have noticed that the clear coat or protectanct is starting to peel off. Oh well.....

Yep, you can adjust them a bit. Thats how they looked when I first installed them:

Don't hooked the halos up for now. But i have the stock headlamps apart ready for the whistler mod. them I'm gonna decide witch one I like best.

Light output is much better with the projectors but thats nothing a HID-kit couldn't cure. ;)

it is much better or it isn't much better? did you get the fitment issues worked out? i've been thinking about getting a set of halo headlights for mine but with the gaping hole there...boy i don't know.

i had a set of black halo's and the rubber weather stripping started coming off after a few months.

Thanks for the pix's guys, I think ill do the whistler mod next summer. But ill try to find some used lights in case something goes wrong....

passenger side is on the area of the highbeam as much forward as possible.
probably I could do a little more adjustment to the driver side.

Just a suggestion...

You should adjust the beam to where its only one cut off light on the wall.

I have the same headlights as yours and have the HID kit w/ the pair also and here is what mine looks like.
