My 2004 GTO is action strange the steering wheel controll when you hit vol up it changes the chanel when you hit vol down it turns vol up not sure what that is all about anyone else have problems like this?

I do at times. Never really bothered me. I think I am going to try some compressed air in the controls to clean them out.
It dont bother me just tired of hearing my wife complain about it.Quote:

never had that problem in my 05 .. Is it the same radio ???
the signal from each button goes through the same wire with different resistances for each button......cleean the contacts and it will starting right again.
yup all have the same radios 04-06
