Two questions:

1. What is the purpose of the splitter?
2. So your saying that is cost $100 to ship a Valance and $60 to ship a Splitter?

1. Basically It keeps the suspension loaded at higher speeds just due to down force. I'm not the best at all the technical aspects of it, but here's a video Mark (6LE) made as a joke for another forum (it is referring to "The Simpsons" and the fact that he makes his living as an actor) HOWEVER the physics are real..... As far as wear and tear there is none.

Finally, even our fastener are "serious". We use all M8 stainless bolts and hardware to make sure it isn't going anywhere AND pressure is distributed equally..... Plus, we did TONS of real life testing. And at high speeds! (to at least 148 ;))

2. We knock $100 off of the valances if you pick them up, yup, shipping is that retarded...and the boxes are rather large...but we get screwed on shipping charges

$60 off the splitters if you pick up.

If you can't pick up, best thing to do is find a buddy around you who wants one as well, 1 valance costs $100 to ship but so does 2 valances so you could each save $50...

I also forgot to mention that the splitters can be ordered with a beveled front lip as well. ;)

not a fan of splitters on f-bodies...but i think they look good on GTOs
