clutch pedal return spring

Hey does anyone know where you can get one of these stupid springs cheaper than $68 at the dealership? I tried the part number at gm parts direct and couldnt find it. Also, for those of you who have removed it, what's it feel like driving? and are there any negative side effects?

Mine broke about 3 years ago. I never replaced it and haven't notice any ill effects. Had I not heard it break and investigated the noise, I probably wouldn't even know it was gone.
