oops?

alright well

i live in texas

i was in my firebird going to get some gas and i see a trans am stopped on the side of the road with a big truck next to it

so i pull over to see if they needed any help and the TA owner said no thanks
i just ran outa gas and i`m going to syphon some from my buddys truck..

i said okay just checking and i start walking away..

as i walk back past the truck i noticed it was a DIESEL
i just look at it and just start crackin the fuck up, they look at me and say what the hell are you laughin at... "in a strong voice"

i say nothing get in my car and drive past em..
on the way i put down my window and say

dang i didnt know a trans am could run off diesel fuel and i sped off...

they were standing there like :brick:

It's hard to believe that anyone would do that. I mean, even if the TA owner was dumb enough not to know that, the guy with the diesel should have for sure.

Not saying you're full of it or anything, just that it's so hard to believe that there are people out there that stupid.

Exactly... My grandmother who barely speaks English and knows almost nothing about cars... Realize when she went to the gas station, that she was pumping Diesel in her car after a half a gallon... So I am sure these two guys would have known better.

So why didn't you let them know in advance what they were doing. Maybe they just weren't thinking straight.

well the truck owner when i walked up said some stuff that could have been said "nicer"
when i lent my help to them

but idk they both were pretty dumb

the ta owner was kinda young and his plates wearent texas
the truck guy was older and should have been hella more wise

idk, idc it was funny though

I would have told them diesel won't work in the Bird and went about my biz. When I try to assist and get nasty responses, I wash my hands of that person.

I worked for U-Haul a while back, and we had dipshits, ALL THE TIME, putting Gas in a diesel.... I don't get people.... Maybe Gas nozzles should be square, and Diesel Triangular????

yea, you can put gas in a diesel but not the other way around. you'd think they would've done something about that by now.:shrug:

Hahaha my sister didn't even know how to fill up her tank when she was 16. I learned when I was like 5. She's like ,"where does the nozzle go?" uggh!! :ar:

But if I was the kid in the firebird and a diesel offered to lend me some gas id tell him he's an idiot. Lol
