08 procharger z06 vs 08 shelby cobra

So went to a car show next town over and saw an 08 shelby cobra. I told my girl i wanna run that thing becuase that guy lives in my town and is cocky from what i hear. So i leave the car show about 8pm and it gets over at 9. Go out to eat then start to head for home and guess what i run into? YEP the 08 shelby. So i give it alittle gas right next to him i figured he would not play but to my suprise he does. So we go from 60-160 and i cant believe how fast i got there. Anyway i bet $50 i had a good semi trailer on him. THen i go back to minding my business and here he comes we go from 65-140 and i spanked him again. Then he does a flyby and gets on the exit ramp i thought he was going to fly off it he was going so fast. I am so pleased with my car even thou i knew i was going to beat him but i bet he didnt think i would smoke him that bad. I never seen him cheking my car out at the show. Cant wait for full exhaust and some other goodies for next year. 3-0 beat a ninja 636.

Hmmm... The block mod would be very beneficial. First day my car would be supercharged Id get pulled. My car is already notorious, it could only get worse, lol. Nice kill.

i've got enough notoriety around these parts i just can't race anymore. cops always seem to be in the wrong places, they can't do anything but see me goin at it. haven't had a good street race in months - at least i never got busted. be damned careful out there on the street, goin as fast as that z06 no doubt does cops are the least of your worries.

good kill though, way to keep that shelby driver in his place :P

Yes i did but i had to run him i mean it was funny because i said to my girl at the car show i want to run that car and it happend.

The Shelby GT500 is a slug. If you couldn't beat it with a stock Corvette I'd be surprised. The NEW 2010 is a bit faster, but the 08 shouldn't even be a race...maybe for the Camaro but not Corvette.

Nah, the Shelby would get it easy from a roll like that. Even from a dig, the shelby will pass it up top.

As always though, it's a drivers race.

from my experience theyre not that fast, unless i raced a shitty driver, i raced one twice, i have an a4, the first race it took my car forever to downshift, from 50mph he got almost 2 cars on me right away, by 120 i caught up to his rear bumper, and he let off, second race i manually shifted it, and got him by about 1.5 to 110. not to surprised, i have bolt ons, cam, no cats, 2.73s.
