well just got done puting a new clutch an flywheel in my car, but now when i push the pedal down i got nothing. I bleed the lines on it an still nothing when the pedal is to the floor an i let it out it grabs right away. the clutch is a stage 2 RAM clutch an a 13lb flywheel. any info would be nice
These setups seem to be touchy. You may need to shim the slave cylinder or get an adjustable master cylinder. The Tick Performance master seems to be the best out there.
would the shims go behind the throw out or infrout, an where do you get them. really don't want to take the tranny out agine though lol
Does the pedal return when you push it in, or does it stick to the floor when you push it all the way down??Quote:

yea the pedal comes up, but i went to my shop lastnight an tried to bleed it somemore an when i open the bleeder valve up an do the normal proces of bleeding the pedal will stay to the floor an i have to pump it up to get pressure back in it. i dont no if this is normal or not, frist time this happen to me.

So yes, following the proper procedure the pedal will stay on the floor after you open the bleeder valve, and it will have to be pulled back up manually.
yea thats what i was doing, i did it some more it seems to be getting better now
Take a look at your pilot bearing, also look if your clutch came with a spacer that could be the issue. The last thing would be your throwout bearing.
its a new pilot in it, an no shims/spacer came with it.
its prolly your master then, If your clutch seems to have no pressure behind it your master could be bad. i just replaced mine and i was having the same problem.
