Test N Tune
I'm new to drag racing and would kinda like to keep it on the track if at all possible, but the closest 2 tracks to me are Kearny Neb. 75 miles or Tpeka Ks 100 and some miles and i was looking at there 2006 schedules and seen Test N Tune days. What is Test N Tune?

Test n tune is open to the public. Basically you bring your vehicle down to the track, and learn how to drag race.

OK I know it's a Mustang site but I think this is a good article.

The first time I ever ran I had bad butterflies. I had a 15sec Dodge and the car I ran up nxt to was a 10sec Chevelle. I staged and He staged after a crazy burn out. Then came the 1st yellow, 2nd yellow, and just as the third yellow light came on that Chevelle exploded out of the hole. I totally freaked, popped the clutch, and stalled the car. as I'm rolling over the start line and trying to refire my car the guy working the tree was looking at me like, "hey buddy, next time bring an automatic." I started the car back up and ended up runing a 19 sec pass. Second run 15.8, third run 15.4 and by the end of the day 15.2 and I was hooked!

where do you live? There is a track in Great Bend. It is an NHRA track and is a good place to learn. It wouldn't be as busy as Heartland. There is also an 1/8 mile track at manhattan. That's where I race my SS.
