Different lengths of extensions will help. I jack the car up for the number 8 plug and configure a few combinations of extensions. What do you mean you cant get the swivel to turn. Try this, put the spark plug socket on first. Seat it all the way down. Then take a look at what your working with room and area etc. That will give you a good idea of what extras you need. Try that, and a short extension. It is possible, you might bleed though:)
I just finished mine, left side took about an hour and right side took about 45min. I'm getting faster. Passenger side I climb on the radiator support, one knee near the battery and the other near the air lid. Take off the air pipe and the coil pack bracket(5 bolts, leave the last one off for the future). I just used a spark plug socket, a swivel and ratchet. That number 8 I do with my arm twisted and no line of sight. keep at it
remove your coils and valve cover and it'll really open up that side... it'll be a breeze after you remove those things, its easy should take you about 10min the most to remove em you just need a 8mm and 10mm sockets i believe.
it took me about 20-30 mins to change all the spark plugs on my car.. i just pulled the coil/brackets off and leaned in and you can reach every plug very easy.. just sounds like you people are making it alot harder then it really is..
the driver side is easy but the passenger side takes a litle more work, i took of the pipe that is conected to the header to fit better with that out of the way u should be able to get to all but #8 witch i jacked up the car to get 2 working my way from the bottom
