Emissions in CT
What do you all do to pass emissions in connecticut? I would like to get lts with ory and i'm not sure what would be the easiest thing to do come time for emissions. Jet hot has a Y pipe that can swap cats in. Would this be worth it only to pass emissions?

hey i live in CT aswell , what town are you in?
all headers except shorties are illegal in CT unfortunately, but there are certian places that will pass your car no matter what.
This is just what i have heard, i have a stock exhaust as of now but i'm considering pacesetters with ORY, but i dont know if i should do it

Does anyone know what kind of inspection CT has? Do they actually look to see what kind of manifolds are on the car? Or do they just test the gases coming out of the exhaust?

I've had 4 cars and trucks tested since CT resumed it's emissions testing two years ago with no problems. On 1995 and newer vechicles, they don't sample your exhaust gases. The testing is done though the PCM diagnostic connector. If your PCM is in the ready mode, and shows no fault codes, you will pass. When I had my LS1 Corvette tested last summer, the tester didn't look under the car or under the hood.
Headers should not be a problem if you keep your O2 sensors, and scan for any codes before you go for testing.Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
