Extreme heat!

Well, I finally closed on my house and decided to shoot down to Bradenton, FL for vacation. This is a 600 mile trip. Halfway down I had to stop for gas. This is when I noticed the parking brake handle was extremely warm. Never noticed this before. So I let the car cool down a bit while we grabbed something to eat. Still warm when we took off again and stayed that way all the way down. Could this be a problem or normal for such a long trip? The tranny stayed pretty much in 6th gear the whole ride..?????:Poke:

mine is usually warm also, just heat transfer i would say.

x2 its normal...remember its metal on metal..it will transfer alot of heat

Great, guess I'll go over to Bradenton's test and tune tonight and see what kind of 1/4 I can run.
