If you do not have a programmer is there another way to clear your SES? I remember reading a post about removing some fuses and turning the key but i can't seem to find it:cuss:

You could disconnect your negative battery cable for a few minutes, that resets the computer and your codes...but if you don't get them turned off (which you can only do with a programmer) then they will just come back up.
ya i can get a programmer from the dealership on monday but i dont wanna wait till then but looks like i'll just suck it up
Just do the bat. cable thing to hold you off :dunno: I do it from time to time, I need to send my PCM to Frost for tuning/code delete, but I drive my car every day, so until I get the time, I just reset the codes every now and then, kinda like a desktop in a way
disconnect the battery for a few seconds..a few minutes is way to long..i count to 20 then reconnect the battery personally
ya i disconnected the bat cable for like 3 minutes and still had the SES light on... i fastened the SLP lit a little better and i got a better throttle response but its no runnin right yet. once i clear the codes i should be getting proper readings from my MAF etc...
