GM sells Saturn to Penske

surprised a guy so rooted in racing wouldn't be more interested in Pontiac!

very smart move for penske!!!!
saturn is a more competitive company then pontiac was in todays market.

I am curious to see what penske designs for the saturn fleet, this could be interesting.

Now we just bill gates to buy Chrysler and Ted Turner to pick up Pontiac

I could only imagine, your GM car stopping and restarting out of no where because the PCM/ECU has a windows crash....

For DD their cars are ok, even though it is a chick car I like the SKY. My co worker had one with the turbo one it. It moved for a 4 banger, but it is not space friendly for any guy over 5'10 and over 220lbs. Tight fit.

So now that the Chinese has Hummer and Penske will get Saturn...who get Pontiac and Saab?:shrug:

Who buys or even owns a SAAB in America?

i know a few people that own a SAAB pretty nice cars

call me crazy but i actually think saturn sells some pretty nice lookin stuff now and im actually a fan of the old plastic original versions for plain ol ugly but reliable fuel efficient transportation. my dad's car has been great for him.

That saturn idea was a good idea from the start, they just never made anything visually appealing till recent, and there were a few vehicles that were junk like the first version vue, the ion and the L series

i love the aura...i'd pimp that fo sho!

Well...Toyota is in NASCAR. Who knows?

I remember the rumor flyin' around that the Viper shenanigans were gonna be sold to Chinese too. Wonder what ever became of that?

saturn has never ever turned a profit ,i like penske ,wish him well....but hes going to lose a ton of money with this move.
