Has anyone ever looked at this?

I just noticed that my rear end of my car is more toward the drivers side. By looking at the tire on both side compared to the body, there is probably 3/8" difference. It is all stock (rear suspension), nothing seems to be bent (panhard bar etc.) and it doesn't look like any of the brackets holding the panhard bar have moved or been bent. Never noticed this before, but never looked. The bodylines all look good. Could it just be like this from the factory? I have always drove it fairly hard. Thanks, John

if, and i assume it is, your car is sitting on the ground, you need an aphr. thats adjustable panhard rod. if its sitting on frame stands that would cause the rear to shift to the side till you put it back on the ground [ i forget which way it goes though]. get one that is adjustable on the car and just crank the adjuster till its even. make sure you check everything out good while your under there, so you dont just compensate for something else that needs repaired/replaced.:usa:

Pretty typical, get an adjustable panhard bar and re-center the rearend.

Yes, it is on the ground, and I neglected to say this is my 98z28.

What I was wondering was is it normal to see the ass end that far out of whack? I pulled one hell of a burnout the other day on a two way road and turned the car around and had to let off, getting some slide to the passenger side w/out the wheels turning, putting alot of pressure toward the drivers side. That was why I was asking. Like I said, nothing looks tweaked, bent, or moved under it. I will get the adjustable pan hard bar and fix it. Just trying to see if I am fixing a problem I created. Its rather common to see this. I doubt you had anything to do with it.

Thanks for the info. On another note, I think I read that you have a valance on the rear of your SS that works well with the slp dual tips? Correct? John

I have the SLP valence and the SLP center mount exhaust on my Camaro.

Crap. I didn't think about the center mount exhaust on you SS. Have you seen any valances that will work with the slp loudmouth system on a 98 Z28? Thanks. John
