OK when I put my windshield wipers on they make a terribly loud noise when they move up and its driving me nuts :growl:.... is there a problem with them or do they work like this on every f-body...thanks

what brand of blade are they and how old are they? Might just either be cheap blades or have hardened over time. My brother put bosch Icons on his goat and loves them. The wipers on my firebird haven't been turned on in years and I couldn't tell you what blades are on my goat....probably rain x but they don't make any noise.
try wiping the blade edge with a rubbing alcohol soaked rag
I had an 02 z and they sounded like crap. the mechanism is terrible. I love the front defroster that only has a vent in the middle for the gigiantic windshield and the fan that blows as hard as a wave of a hand. poor engineering.
Im sorry i wasnt specific enough.....da noise its coming from the blade..its coming from the motor that moves the blades across the windshieldQuote:

took the motor out and it was corroded like crazy...replacing it today...thanks 4 the help guys
