Whenever I drive like for an hour or so really hot air starts to come out near my pedals and makes my right foot hot as a bitch. What might this be? (and no the heat isnt turned or and its not set to blow out on the feet)

Do you have longtubes? Longtubes will make the floor very hot.
Or you could have a hole in your firewall were a grommet is suppossed to be there and its gone so it blows the hot air from underhood in to your footwells.
Your solenoids that control you air conditioner might be broken as well.
No, I do not know everything!
ya ive got LTs
I know you said your heat isn't on or anything, but try turning the temperature knob to cold. even if vent, floor, ac, etc. isn't on sometimes hot air will still blow through from the engine bay.
ok, Ill give it a try. Thanks fellas
np, hope it helps
lol yea our bonnevile will do the same thing, and theres no LT's there, its the hot water still circulating through the coil and the fan still slightly on...
sorry it was after driving 6hours.... little out of it, but you got what i meant...
Welcome to the club. 99 TA does it. 06 Grand Prix does it. On highway only, I bet its on highway only.
Its a GM thing lol, all of my f-body's have done the exact same thing, like said above if you switch the knob to the cold side it wont be as hot anymore...
J
:yup:
Only thing, On a GP... the knob isnt a knob.... its a button and I have to push it from 90* to 60*. Pretty damn annoying on that car.
