Can anyone help this guy out? I would like to know too actually.
Here's a link I found. http://www.bowlingss.com/Mods/Instal...%20Systems.mht I did the AIR removal but since mine is a 2002 it didn't have EGR so I don't know if the EGR part is correct. The AIR part is similar to what I did to mine but I think it threw some codes as I'm sure I programmed some out. I also remember a vacuum hose near the back of my engine on the driver's side that needed to be plugged but I'm not finding anything about that. I'll check when I get home and see if I can find the actual link I used.
I took a quick look at it, looks pretty solid. Thanks OhTwo
It says removing the AIR won't throw any codes, I'm pretty sure I read a couple other threads that mentioned it does throw a code and trigger the SES light. (It can be tuned out with a bunch of different programs)
Otherwise seems like a good write up, I'm going to use it shortly.
I'll be doing mine either this evening or tomorrow. going ahead and pulling the manifolds to be ready for when the LT's get here mid week. Will, try to get a few pictures while I'm doing it.
