removing egr and air
im installin heads/cam/headers/intake. the new intake and headers dont have hookups for egr/air so how do i totally get rid of them. I took the lines of the manifolds but where do they go and how do i totally remove all egr lines and air lines and pump?

I have an 02 so i don't have egr and I can't help you there you might want to try a search for that.
as far as the air just follow the lines and start disconnecting the shit. The hoses lead to the pump behind the front drivers side fender. You need to take off the cover from under the car to get to it. Just take your time and it will come out

the egr should be pretty self explanitory. It's all right there on top. Take the lines off, unbolt it from the head, and unplug it. The air pump is basically the same way. Just take it all off and then to pull the pump you drop the access panel down under the drivers side headlight and the pump is up in there. A couple of bolts and it comes right out.

Sweet Thanks guys. Orion, im still at a loss with that whole valve cover pcv thing. You said there are a couple different things i could do instead of getting valve covers from a 99. i didnt really understand in the other post what to do?

those look like the same covers you have now. Just use the ones you bought. I'll help you figure out your pcv. It's not that hard or that big a deal. Hell, you can cap and filter everything if you wanted too.
-
what does that mean to cap and filter everything. just remove all pcv connections and throw a breather on there?

yeah, that's been done before although I don't agree with it. We can get you set up without having to do that. Just run the hoses with a T going to the throttle body.
