My suggestion for 11" wheels is to not go any smaller than a 315. As for the brand, that depends on how much you are willing to spend. You can get Sumitomos in 315 for about $100 each. The wear rating sucks though. Nittos cost a bit more but aren't too expensive either. Do a search on this forum or on Camaroz28.com and look for threads pertaining to this subject. You will find much useful info.

Now... i gather you are dead set on 285's on the rear, if you want them get them. HOWEVER they are too small for an 11" wheel to look right, you want something wider, just go 315 and dont doubt your decision in the long run.
