New Tire Advice
My wife's mid-sized SUV will be needing tires soon. The Costco that I bought my Bridgestone Duelers from only carries Michelin and BF Goodrich now. I've had several sets of Michelins and I don't like them. The BFG Long Trail TA Touring looks favaorable on the Tirerack reviews. Has anyone had any experience with BFG's recently? I had a set of BFG's on a truck about 20 years ago and over the course of a year every one on them separated and blew-out. Maybe BFG has improved since then!

I've had bad experiences with bfg's and goodyears. I'm a kuhmo fan these days. Ran several sets on our cars and it's a good tire for the money. I forget the suv/truck tire they have but they do have one.
edit:
found it.... the ecsta STX. Not ideal for snow from the ratings but great everywhere else. They have a more agressive tire too that's more of an all terrain tire.

I have not been impressed with any of the big US tire makers in many years. Too much money and not enough tire. I have been happy over the last several years with Kumho, Sumitomo and Falken. All have been good tires at affordable prices.

I have been through 2 or 3 sets of BFGs on 2 different Camaros so far. Been highly pleased with them.

Those BFG Long trails are a great tire for longevity and ride. My buddy swears by them on his tahoe.
