Used 99 /02 3800 is the engine i am in the market for. I would buy a good short block, if nice. Thanks for any help. Anyone swapped the six popper out and install a carbed 400 motor in a 99 camaro?
Most people who swap out the 3.8 go for the ls1 because its the cheapest route.. being ever cheaper to sell the car and buy a ls1 car. Carbed 400 would require a lot of fab work, dont be afraid of EFI!
Do you know of the major changes i will need to do an ls1 swap? I have been twisting wrenches along time, and am confident i could pull it off. Thanks for your help in advance. Lenny C.
not much involed ecm trns mount should be the same with a complete wiring harness this turn over should be easy i can still get you the complete engine plus tranny ms6 and the full haring harness for 3,800 engine has about 10,000miles on it let me know
