What is the best way to remove the stock grill on an '01 Camaro? Do you have to remove the front bumper to do this? I've tried just pulling it off but I'm afraid to do any damage to it. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you want to keep your stock grill, then removing the nose is the best way. If you don't care to keep the stock one, then you'll end up cutting the upper tabs of the grill which are fastened by screws to the inside of the nose.
No, I don't want to keep it. I have a new one I'm trying to put on...
When I was putting a billet grille on mine I just pulled it off. Sides first, then bottom, then top. No damage to the car.
yeah just give it a good tug. no damage to the stock bumper or grille.
on a similar note...they don't make individual inserts for the holes left behind when the grille is removed do they? i prefer the grilleless look but hate the holes. i'm just gonna fill them and get the bumper painted i think.
grip and rip...that's what i did and no damage...
Ok, I'll try it. Thanks for the help!
look at the current car of the month, hes got the factory one pulled off, but theres def something in its place...you cant see the little holes.
i've seen that before. it just looks like a sleek aftermarket grille. i've seen bumpers with no grille and no holes, but i'm pretty sure they had a completely different bumper cover.
the 93-97 firebirds looked like that, really ugly IMO
RK SPort has a nice clean grille insert. Comes in Carbon ass well
just keep pulling. You think you'll fuck it up but you wont.
I just did it to mine.. no problems at all. the little plastic fittings on the grill pop out. I just slowly pulled on it, increasing tension as i pulled. No problems and it shined up nicely!!
