Im looking at a red 2000 WS6 and the guy has an aftermarket cam in it. Its a .588 lift .224 duration and 112LSA and he has the stock pushrods and springs. How long untill something breaks?

Yes he is crazy, no set time, but the time you have is borrowed.
Couple times above 4000RPM and it drops a valve.
And by a couple...I mean one.
So that means, go test drive and take it to 4200 RPM. :lol:

Ive never heard of anyone doing that.
Hes not a mechanic then, he is a dumbass who spends money on tools he doesnt know how to use.
If he has ever fired that motor on stock springs something is already broke.
the thing shouda already broke. ls1's are actually real smart and they wont start when idiots get inside....really though if he claims to have installed it i would certainly question his truthfulness. ask him for receipt for cam or somethin. i think he got it installed and shop took care of springs 'n pushrods and he just wants to sound cool. If not have him drive you around and gun it. ls1's have tendency to valve float with stock cam let alone THAT one.
