G'day and welcome. If you are a decent driver, you should be able to pull off a win. Your car is more than capable.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

I'll start out with good things to say. Get a tune and you should have no problems with that mustang. Now for the bad.....that SLP MAF was a waste of money. You would've been just fine with the stock MAF and more times than not that MAF will cause you more problems than it's worth. Get a tune and that MAF should work fine for you but that money would've been better spent elsewhere.
welcome to the site and read as much as you can and you'll learn a lot in a short period of time. There's a lot of good info here.

So you think the mass Sensor will add any additional hp? What about long tubes? How hard are they to put on? Iv heard their a pain to put on,iv alredy put loud mouth exhaust on it.

Any suggestions on some good spark plugs an wires?

you will find most people here run msd wires and ngk tr55 plugs. Headers are a job but definitely doable. A lift makes that job much easier....that said me and buddy put mine on in my garage on stands in just a few hours. I wouldn't pass on headers because I was worried about the install...they're not that bad.....just expect to spend a Saturday doing them and sucker a buddy into giving you a hand for some pizza and beer.

Hey thanks alot for the info, the 00 vette is up next for a intake transplant but im still debating on an lsxr or a factory ls6. Iv heard that unless you got heads an a cam the lsxr isn't much better then a factory ls6. Is this true? Whats ur opinions on this?

I look at it more as dollars spent vs HP gained. The fast stuff is super expensive for the gains you get.....again....that's money you could put elsewhere. I personally wouldn't do the lsx intake without heads/cam but that's just my personal thoughts. I would put that leftover intake money towards headers.

Has anyone had any trouble with the abs light coming on on a c5 vette? Whenever I go around a sharp turn or a bump it comes on. I checked the wires an they seem tight an in place. If anyone has any info id really appreciate it thanks.

You might want to ask that in the Vette section.

I would recommend getting it to come on and then read the code. That will tell you immediately which way to start looking and save you some guess work and time. ABS code reader prices have came way down and are being included with some of actron's scanners (check out amazon). If you don't have one it would be a worthwhile investment. Most likely it's a sensor issue but without knowing the code it's impossible to guess which wheel......looking at a 25% chance of getting it right.
