DarrenWS6 replied to a thread Help: Borla catback bolt size in External Engine
I would just cut them out with a good cut off wheel between the flanges, and plan to replace the gasket if any. Then I would take whatever bolt you can get a diameter of, go to your local hardware/Lowes/Home Depot and replace with stainless steel hardware of the same thickness. If I was to guess,...

DarrenWS6 replied to a thread Help: Sheared y-pipe bolts in External Engine
Take a wire wheel to the surfaces and threads to clean them up. If there is anything protruding out, try to weld a nut on. Once welded on, try and heat the surrounding area, not the stud itself, and attempt to work it out. Back and forth motions to free it up. If there is nothing protruding,...

Harry - you should be able to source something like that from any of the major parts vendors.

Temps were in the high 70's here yesterday and Thursday. Way too warm for this time of year. On a countdown for our trip out west - plan is to get there and just enjoy some R&R. No side trips or activities other than renting some ATV's and maybe running up Mt. Lemmon.

DarrenWS6 replied to a thread Question: What to do now in Firebird / WS6
As tempting as that sounds, I would pass and stick to your original plan. You have collected everything and your close to being all ready. And as you mentioned, beefing up the other areas like the 10 bolt definitely come to mind vs rebuilding a 6.2L that you could always purchase later down the...

Sounds like good plans. Glad to see you are getting it done and not tossing it away. I am considering the TSP kit for my car along with PRC 2.5 heads. My WS6 is currently full bolt on M6 lacking heads/cam and puts out 360rwhp. You should exceed 400rw easily.

You guys doing the Fatmat sound insulation, how much weight do you think it is adding to the car? I have messaged Cpop about doing cam and heads for my car possibly this spring. Lots of money to save up, gonna try and have $4,000 ready and do it all correctly. Fuel pump upgrade and...

Thanks! I am not sure if I need injectors that large though. From research I have done 60# is good but I may be wrong. Right now I am waiting to hear back from Geoff at EPS or Frost on what size I would need for e85.
