    Replaced both lower ball joints as well. Upper joints seemed fine and are easy to do, whereas the lowers are a bit more work. Unfortunately, they don't leave any lip on the control arm around the lower ball joints so I ended up using a BFH, rather than my press, to remove them. The stock joints...

    It is higher rpms that really pull the oil into the can. A lot more oil mist flying around inside the engine. On average, I may get an ounce or less out of ours after a weekend at the track. Sounds like yours is doing its job.
