Yes they will bolt right up to your LS1. I don't know if I would reuse the lifters and push rods and the cam would have to be in really good shape before I'd use it. You could use the heads and get a cam, lifters and push rods from a vender and be ahead even more. Just my .02.

yes that was a misprint. i am a tech and these parts cam from a low mi engine with a blown pistion. will they make a horsepower increase or am i better off after market.

They'll make a HP increase, but aftermarket can make more, usually. To keep the Mods happy, try RHS or something, but look for AFRs or Trick Flows as far as heads.
Cams, Texas Speed MS series are bad ass from what I've seen. Friend has a LS1 with 5.3 heads (plus extras) and a MS3 and putting down around 450. Just read and do your research.

thanks for the input. i am going to make the swap this weekend will post the results. spaz may i ask what gear you are running. from what i am reading the 340 range is the best with a automatic.

Everything will work fine and literally swap right over as long as you have the pushrods. However it is a LOT of work for a minimal gain. Another option would be to keep the heads and sell the cam. Stock LS6 cams sell fairly quickly, and would significantly reduce the overall cost of buying a better cam and spring packge.
