    The world is a bit slower...

    So I was going down the road about 4 weeks ago at 187 miles an hour. It was the first time at that speed. and it made me think, "If I hit something-having my entire body stuffed inside my helmet like a tuna sub in ziploc bag cant feel good"!! so I put my Yamaha R1 up for sale. A few weeks later I traded it to a guy for a black '96 SS. know I knew nothing about Camaro's, having sold my '68 Mustang to by the R1 three years ago, but my mom has a 'Camaro and she enjoys it, so... I made the trade. A week later a friend of mine saw the car and wanted to buy it so I sold it to him but not before I stumbled upon an '00 SS Convertible on Craigslist for $8000. I couldn't pass that up. It's been a real fun car. My 4 year old loves saying, "Go fast dad", with a big grin of anticipation on her face waiting for the throttle. Don't get me wrong, It's no R1 but Im alive, not in jail, still have a license and have room in the car to make others feel funny from the speed. That's what Christmas is about right?... GIVING and SHARING?
    So... Being one of those, "want to know everything about everything" kind of guys, I joined up here and have found some great info. So thanks to all you addicts out there. I'm looking forward to hanging out.
