whats the challange?

Thanks for letting me be a part of this, I just aquired an ls1 out of a 94 caprice . an old hyway patroll unit . Im looking into placeing the motor trany and rearend in a 63 chevy short bed truck. well I know there will be some issues to deal with but to start, Im wondering about the whole computer thing. I purchased the whole car and she kicks butt. everything works so before the teardown of the caprice are there any sugestions. things that some of you fine gearheads may have done or not done that could be helpfull. thanks in advance and I look foward to this fourm

94 caprice is definitely an lt1 car.... not ls1. you're still welcome though. I have an lt1 camaro

oh by the way. on that swap, just make sure you keep all of the computer and everything. there is one part you will need to by off of summit that eliminates a security thing. it won't let you start the car if you swap the motor and don't do this. and other than that it's pretty much a bolt up swap. the lt1 has a very similar block to the 1st gen v8 so it shouldn't be too hard of a swap
