    Two questions?? Whats the best computer chip to buy for a 99 Trans Am? and wheres the cheapest place to find a egr valve??

    You need to reprogram the 'chip' as of 1994 GM has the chip soldered into the computer. Programs like LS1 edit and HP tuners are what you need (or someone who has one of those programs to re-program your cpu).
