    Thanks for the new cat

I joined some time ago. enjoy all the shared info.
Somewhere someone said one might get a cat replaced under warranty if car is less than years old. About 6 mo ago I got rid of the frist p0430 code by using a top lub oil, It came back 3 mo later. Took it to the dealer. I had 5 days left of the ten year warranty on my 2001 TA. At first the service order writter said he did not think the cat extended warranty covered Firebirds.
He found that it did. Replaced one of the cats , No cost . Runs alot better
    THANKS AGAIN

I'm glad that worked out for you. I missed out by a few months when my code showed up. But, I changed my K&N to a paper Wix filter and cleaned my MAF and the code disappeared a few days later and never came back again. I'm hoping it stays that way

You should post more often. Once a year isn't enough
