    g'day all. yes i'm an aussie.jst purchased an vx ss 2001 model. i know its old but 67k on the clock who can complain . I have a question for you guys and gals,is it normal for a genIII ls1 too use oil between services? I've done 7k and had too put 2 litres of oil in it. Any comments will be muchly appreciated.

    It is somewhat normal. I suggest getting a oil catch can and a new truck style pcv valve to help.
