    Rookie

    All new to me,like to install LQ9 engine and automatic trans out of a 2003 truck. into my 69 firebird street/strip use. please help!

    Seen it done a few times but Not me. Good luck with the swap. Buddy did a LT1 swap in his 70 elcamino with little difficulty. Finding someone to do your wire harness will be your biggest hurdle.

    Sounds like a good swap, throw a cam and headers before you put the motor in the car. Check the motor section for swap help, also introduce yourself in the western section so you can meet the locals. They can give you advice on local shops as well. Dare I say introduce yourself on ls1tech.com to, go to the western section there they dominate that section plenty of people who can help "in person".

    thanks, plans are to put a vortech t-trim supercharger maybe go carbureted. going to check the western section thanks again.
