    Hello,

I am returning to this forum after being away for several years. I have owner several F Bodies but sold them due to wife, kids, etc. Just bought a 2002 A4 Ram Air TA with 45K miles for a Sunday driver. I live North of Houston in Spring TX. Thankfully I saved most of the misc. Parts from my other cars so I got right to work. Car currently has the following mods: 224/224 .563 114 LSA TR Cam, titanium lifters, dual valve springs, pushrods, Kooks 1 7/8 headers and catted Y-pipe, Borla exaust, Yank 3600 stall and trans cooler, Borla exhaust, SLP intake.

As most the vendors I used in the past are closed, I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions. Its good to be back!!

Welcome back, Michael! Congrats on getting yourself another F body and with such low miles, too

Thanks! Thankfully in Houston I had a few low mileage options to choose from. A lot of guys in this area are hording the T/As.Hoping for a big pay day I guess. Good to be back and can't wait to start adding to the car. Dispite the old ladies protests I took up space in the garage with stuff from my old cars. Bolted them right on, got it tuned, and ready for more. I also landed a 6 speed 1994 Z28 with only 78K miles on it. That will likely get sold to buy parts for the TA.

Welcome back Michael, Don't let anyone give you a hard time about driving an automatic. I have both and while I do enjoy my 6m I live in Northern NJ which is the most densely populated area in the country and sometimes an automatic transmission is just what the doctor ordered.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

Lol. Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, Houston is a nightmare to drive a 6M in. I acually have a spare 6M in storage. I thought I may choose to switch it over some day. Finding a local 6M car that someone had not beat the hell out of was a challenge and the guys that had low mileage clean ones wanted $25K or more for them. I can have plenty of fun with the auto and 3600 stall.

I have a Yank converter in my Goat and with a couple of bolt-ons it runs with my SLP Camaro. Best part is that my left foot does not have to do anything.

I hear ya. Its definitely fun to row the gears from time to time. I have the bone stock LT1 Camaro to do that in when I get the itch. I probably won't keep that car. Its only got 78k miles so it still has a little value in it and the TA desperately needs a rear end and some suspension work. The $4-$5k I could get for the LT1 car could go a long way.

And the wife has made it crystal clear that I can't have 2 toys to her none. Luckily she wants a vette with a manual tranny. I could sleep at night having one of those around.
