Newbie without an LS1
Hey everybody.
I currently own an 06 cobalt ss/sc but am looking to get rid of it and pick up a 98-02 camaro or trans am with an ls1 (and something for the winter). Figured this was a good place to do some research on potential problems and potential mods.

i dont have my own yet, but im looking for a 98-02 trans am. i found a '00 6speed for about $15,900 which i think is a bit much... but is it worth it if it means avoiding all the problems that seem to haunt anything under $14k?
it only has 50k miles and seems to be in great shape tho...

Thanks everyone. All I've found locally so far are automatics. I'm hoping to find a M6 but it looks like I'm going to have to increase my search area.
