Introductions......

Hi!
I live in southern Louisiana, outside of New Orleans.

Currently my full time job is an automotive trim technician (upholsterer), part of a team building powerful red italian specialty vehicles, Ferrara's. Not Ferrari, Ferrara Firetrucks.

Went to Wyo Tech for trim and have been doing this on and off while spending 20 years in the U.S. Navy, retired.

I have read posts on this site in the past, but until lately 3rd gen's were as new as I wanted to go.
I have had Camaro's in the past, but my preference is firebirds/Trans Ams.
Last year bought my first 4th gen, a 1993 Trans Am. Black with Graphite leather interior and no t-tops with just 64K on the meter (now 70K). It was a special order car, the originak owner wanted a Black T/A with Leather, CD player and no t-tops - That is it! I bought it from the original owner with window sticker, GM repair manual and a bunch of other goodies. The car was meticulously kept up. Since then I have replaced the salad shooter 16" with "vette" styled 17" rims, lowered it - compliments of Eibach and put a ram air style hood on. I still have all the original stuff, it just is in storage.

I have 3rd gens T/A's as well, one about to be re-restored and possibly upgraded. Haven't raced in years, but when I did it was mostly SCCA style.
Not against racing, but not for street racing at all!
