    '03 Corvette Convertible

    Newbie from NY

    Hi, I'm not new to cars. I've owned many classic cars, but I'm new to C5 Corvettes and LS series engines and all the whizbangery that goes along with them! I know absolutely nothing about all the sensors, etc., but I know under all that scary stuff is just a basic pushrod engine, of which I'm very familiar. Anyway, I'm picking up my '03 Corvette convertible with LS1>LS6 Vette Doctors 419rwhp engine this week. I'm very excited and look forward to learning more...by choice and not necessity I hope!

    Hey! Thanks for the welcomes! I got it on the road and man is it awesome! Amazing job they did with this car. The ride and road manners are incredible for a sports car. I'm in love! Ha ha.. Here are some photos. The engine isn't much to look at...pretty much like all the others. You would never know what's lurking there but for the logo engraved on the front of the heads, but here it is (still a bit grimy in there....have to clean that yet) The car has spent some time at the track and has a best time of 11.85 @118 on drag radials. It definitely flies!
