Newbie from Kansas

I have a 1978 Pontiac Phoenix (Mystic Blue) 48,000 original miles, its got a junk 305, i bought a 6.0 from a 2500hd truck, i was wondering what are the best mods i can do for the money, i know im going to do headers, cam, carb, intake, what else are some good mods that will make a differance for the money, My car weighs 3350 with me in it, i'll be putting a 4L60 with a stall behind the 6.0, and i'll be running 275/60/15 M/T drag radials, is it possible to run anywhere in the 11's with the mods listed above?

looks like a fun project, it all depends on what cam, carb, intake and stall you run

heads would be a good boost in performance.

I will be driving this car everyday, what cam should i go with, also what about the intake?, im going with a pro system's carb, what about the pacesetter headers?
