Thanks! So you are north of Detroit? Are you going on any legs of the power tour? It ends in Detroit.

Yup, approx 20min north on I-94 of it.

I have long since forgotten the meaning of free time, with the purchase of a house, so I will sadly be missing events like this. This thing has more projects than the TA does, sadly. And I thought owning a sports car was expensive, LOL!

I got 2 excuses for that one, lol.

I can't plan what I'm doing next week, let alone next year... ha! Thankfully my GF doubles as a personal assistant and reminds me important dates.

2nd, I failed to mentioned I'm back to being a full time student as well, so I should be a good student and study, lol.

I really want to go the LSX shootout one year, that's on my goals as well as Spazapalooza! LMAO!

I always want to make it to these events, but as I get older the harsh realization that needs out weigh wants has to kick in more and more.

LOL! Well good luck with all that, looks like you really have your plate full. I forgot about the LSX shootout...I want to do that one also! I also want to go to woodward for the dream cruise this year if possible, do you make it to this ever? Please say "Yes" this is in your back yard!

Many times, that and the Gratiot cruise as well. It's a smaller version of the Woodward one. The Gratiot one is literally in my backyard, I can hear the burnouts being done from my driveway.

Best time at the dream cruise was when I got to take the GF's mom's '68 California Special Mustang down there. Even had Cali plates, lol. IIRC there are only 2 of these in the entire state.

    Here she is:

Didn't see this thread earlier. Welcome!

Are you in Indy? Going to that little race on the 29th? I live just south of the track.

    Thanks... I apreciate it!

Im real close to Indy, actually just north of Noblesville.

Im not sure if we are going to that little race or not yet. I was born and raised here and have been several times. My wife is from MI and has never been yet. I have taken her to the Brickyard but not the "Little Race" LOL! You going?

Nice lookin' TA. What kind of wheels are those.

And no, not going to the 500, but I can easily hear the roar of the cars from my backyard. We like to listen to the race on the radio outside while hearing them as well.
