newbi with LS1 project
Hello, having gone through 4 forced induction rotary engines and 3 turbos I have had enough with my 3rd gen RX7. Got to admit though, 8000 RPM and 430 HP to the wheels makes for some fun on road courses. Consider VIR as my home track, many many laps there.
Just purchased a 2002 LS1 from a Transam complete with harness, T56 and engine management unit. Going in the 7 this winter.
I have a good handle on things except one thing, identifying harness connectors.
I will pot a tech question in the proper area regards this.
Plan to just install mild cam, headers, accusump, check rod bearing, rings and shake out all aux stuff such a cooling, hyd clutch stuff, fuel sytem and monitoring guages.
Drive the snot out of it this season comming and plan to get in to the cyl heads next.
I will be calling on you LS1 gurus for help.

welcome to the sight
3rd gen rx-7's are great when you trash the motor and swap it for an ls-x motor.
